Learn to Dive

Learning to scuba dive is a great experience and one that comes with a raft of rewards and broadening of skills and abilities. I offer beginners dive courses and find them rewarding and satisfying. I offer courses across the UK and Malta.

There are many agencies who offer the beginners diving qualification, these include PADI, SDI, SSI and BSAC. The entry level divers course is Open Water diving course, and BSAC call theirs the Ocean Dive course. Ultimately they are the same courses just different agencies i.e. brands. They all follow the same international standards which is ISO 24801. All of the different agency courses are delivered to the same exacting standards and all are equally recognized around the world, albeit PADI is the most recognized by tourists around the globe.

An introductory scuba diving course is 3 days which includes either face to face or online theory training. This is followed by a confined water skills day where several short and shallow dives take place to practice some basic skills. Once we have perfected these skills, we then do our four open water dives which usually take place in the sea.

Once you have completed all these factors, you will have achieved your entry level diving qualification.

Scuba Diver Training

I am a passionate adventurer, loving being in the mountains walking, climbing, scrambling as much as I love being under the water exploring shipwrecks, mines and caverns, or in search of treasure in the depths. My real passion lies in combining mountains and water and as such you’ll often find me either in the mountains altitude diving, or in the mountains ice diving. Both exhilarating and peaceful – allowing me to regenerate the inner me, whilst pushing myself physically and mentally.
